REGULATIONS

Energy efficiency:

• On 15 April 2017, Russian Federation Government approved Resolution No. 450 to amend Resolution No. 1222/2009 on Energy Efficiency Labelling and Technical Documentation.

RoHS:

• Technical Regulation on Restriction on the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (TR EAEU 037/2016) entered into force from 1 March 2018.

GUIDELINES

Energy efficiency:

• The energy efficiency rating is based on the manufacturer’s proof or any third party test results.
• The energy efficiency grade ranges from A to G, with A being the most energy efficient and G the least efficient.
• Energy efficiency grades A+, A++ and A+++ are also required to describe the goods with the highest energy efficiency level which is higher than class "A".

Russian RoHS:
The adopted TR requires that the concentration of certain hazardous substances in homogeneous materials in the relevant types of electrical and electronic equipment does not exceed the thresholds set on the TR.

• Lead: 0.1%;
• Mercury: 0.1%;
• Cadmium: 0.01%;
• Hexavalent chromium: 0.1%;
• Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): 0.1%; and
• Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE):0.1%

• Combination clothes washer/dryer
• Cooktops/Hobs            
• Dishwasher
• Flat screen televisions
• Freezers
• Imaging machines
• Incandescent lamps
• Low pressure sodium lamps            
• Microwave ovens
• Ovens
• Refrigerators
• Room A/C
• Space heaters
• Water heaters

Russian RoHS:

The list includes PCs, monitors, tablets, keyboards, printers, changeable data storage devices, calculators, electrical and electronic watch, electrical hand tools, domestic appliances, cables (except fibre optic cables), etc.
