Requirements of Gulf Technical Regulation for Low-Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances (BD-142004-01) must be confirmed by the G-Mark Certificate.
The product categories which fall under the scope of the Gulf Technical Regulation for Low-Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances (BD-142004-01) as of July 1st, 2016 are:
Domestic electrical fans
Refrigerators, freezers and other refrigerating or freezing equipment
Centrifugal clothes dryers and clothes washing machines
Food grinders and mixers, fruit or vegetable juice extractors
Toasters
Electro-thermic hair-dressing apparatus and hand dryers
Domestic electric heating apparatus
Microwave ovens
Other ovens, cookers, cooking plates, boiling rings, grillers and roasters
Electric instantaneous or storage water heaters and immersion heaters
Electric smoothing irons
Plugs, socket outlets, adaptors, cord extension sets and chargers
Air conditioners
If the same product falls under the scope of ECAS and under the scope of G-Mark - it is required to obtain both the G-Mark Certificate and the ECAS CoC.
